OBITUARY 

1966 - 2015

Gilberto Campos, 49, of Aurora passed away surrounded by his family on June 10, 2015. He was born on January 26, 1966 the son of Nicholas and Josefa (Bustos) Campos. Gilbert worked at Granite Corp for several years. He had a passion for classic cars and Harley Davidson Motorcycles. He had a heart of gold and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He was funny, kind and loving and will be deeply missed by all. He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years Carmen Campos, his beloved Chihuahuas Tiny and Dino, his sisters Susana (Wilfredo) Montanez and Rebecca (Jose Cadena) Campos. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, 5 sisters-in-law, 1 brother-in-law, dear friend Ivan Mitchell and many other dear friends and relatives. He is preceded in death by his parents Nicholas and Josefa, his brother Fransisco Campos and mother and father in law Jose G. Diaz and Nora Escalona. Family will be receiving guests on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway Ave. Montgomery, IL 60538. Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church 620 5th Street Aurora, IL. Interment will be private.
