Obituary

July 21, 1967 - January 27, 2015

Carlos “Partyin” Partida-Del Toro, beloved son, brother, cherished friend, father and husband passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2015.  

Just before 3 a.m. Tuesday morning, Boone County officials say a serious accident closed the southbound lanes of I-65 near U.S. 52. Carlos was killed at the scene.  

Carlos was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico on July 21, 1967.
He grew up in Aurora, and graduated from East Aurora High School, Class of 1985. Carlos is survived by his wife Vicky, and his children, Crystal, Daniel, and Jonathan. His immediate family also survives him, and includes his parents, Maria G. and Isidro Partida, and siblings, Jorge Partida, Lydia (Peter) Dominguez, Isidro (Andrea) Partida, Francisco (Gloria) Partida, Luis (Valerie) Partida and numerous nieces and nephews.

Carlos will always be remembered as the life of the party, and originator of AC Rockers. He was a passionate and amazing artist and his comical impersonations will remain etched in our memories forever. 
Carlos leaves an undeniable absence in our hearts, but most importantly, we are blessed and grateful, as having known him has certainly enriched all of our lives. Please join us to remember and celebrate his life:  
Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at 10:30 AM at: St. Therese Catholic Church 271 North Farnsworth Avenue, Aurora, IL 60505
A reception will follow in the church basement.
